Swiss Helicopter is an ATO (Approved Training Organisation) approved by the Federal Office of Civil Aviation FOCA. With the changeover to the EASA FCL system, the training has been certified ATO last April 2014. With Swiss Helicopter you can be trained to become a helicopter pilot in accordance with the latest European JAR regulations.
Responsible for practical training are our helicopter bases in Locarno (Ticino), Pfaffnau (Central Switzerland), Berne-Belp (Berne-Western Switzerland), Gruyères (Berne French-speaking Switzerland) and Balzers (Eastern Switzerland). Theoretical instruction can be completed with us or at one of our partner theory schools. We continually offer private pilot training PPL(H), commercial pilot training CPL(H), mountain flight training MOU(H) and IR(H) and much more.
Please note: The minimum number of training hours is given in Rotor Turning Time (RTT)
