Skydiving in Elifriulia: jump from helicopter.

Luigi Coloatto, founder of Elifriulia, and his daughter Annamaria, current President of the company, have always been passionate about everything that has to do with flying. Since they were young, in fact, parachuting was an activity that took place in their spare time.

That’s one of the reason why Elifriulia has the chance to do parachuting.

This type of activity, aims to carry out the related missions done by Parachutists equipped with launching equipment referred to in article 4 of regulation ENAC for the discipline of ordinary and special launches, in sequence, from the left side of the helicopter.
How does it work?

For a launch are the following:

    not over 25 kg in weight compared to the instructor who accompanies me. Anyway for a total maximum of 225 kg including the material.
    15 cm higher compared to the instructor
    Age: there is no limit as long as you fit in the harness and wrap them up safely
    I need not any medical check-up but there are some limitations

After a briefing for about 20 minutes, it starts!

LAttached to an instructor will do my launch from 4000 meters and, at the discretion of the Centre, about a minute in freefall at 180 km/h then the instructor opens the parachute after 5 min of flight.

The use of helicopters

is mainly carried out in the context of demonstrations where the spaces are significantly limited and do not allow a landing of an aircraft.

What perceived by human body is different, however, despite the expected launch rate remains the same ( -95 80 knots) off the plane you have a much more clear stream, cause the pushing force of the propeller and the same aerodynamics push me toward the back and out of the helicopter this disappears almost entirely and have a dip in total vacuum.
