The most essential elements that Captain Cesare Montefiore insists on since 1994 to help his school, Professione Volare from Forli, grow is: the team, the organization, the fleet.
Professione Volare is a team in which different sectors found the best way to integrate in order to give future pilot students a 360° quality training.
The theory courses, of 14 subjects, are kept by university teachers and the Tecnico Aeronautico of Forli. A group of 12 instructors dedicate their full time at the practical training, assisted by 6 commanders with high flight experience that dedicate themselves mostly on the simulators.
In it’s team Professione Volare has 5 examiners that perform their duties in other flight schools as well.
The organization relies on the the synergy between the different departments: training, operational, maintenance, administration. In this Professione Volare has a clear competitive advantage over the great number of companys for which the training is a small segment of their activity.
The fleet of Professione Volare at the disposal of it’s students has 8 single engine, 3 VFR and 5 IFR, and twin engine IFR Diamond DA 42.
In addition students and teachers have at their disposal 2 flight simulators, one of them an ALSIM 200 FNPT II with 200° external view, perfect for the training in instrumental flight (IFR) and the Multi Crew Coordination (MCC) for the programs reuired by JAR FCL.
