Air-Espace provides training for ATPL, CPL, IR, PPL (French or English), PPL(H), CPL(H), ME(H) and HPA Theoretical Knowledge Examinations through "Distance Learning" courses, which have been developed by one of our associated Flight Training Organisations. You may therefore do three quarters of the training by logging on with your home computer and using a whole set of Oxford/Jeppesen Study Material, which follows a specially designed training syllabus. This allows students to make steady progress with all the required subject areas. Home study in each 8-hour module is completed by an online multiple choice examination, which is a requirement for taking the next subject. Average study time for ATPL or IR is approximately 16 hours per week over a period of 10 to 12 months and 4 to 6 months respectively. Home study is completed by a 3-week (ATPL course) or 10-day (IR course) "Presence Learning Session". This takes place in a classroom environment with dedicated and supportive Air-Espace Instructors, who will answer students' questions and test their knowledge for the written examinations.
