Monday 29th June 2015 – Alsim is pleased to announce Istituto Tecnico Aeronautico Ferrarin chose the Alsim ALX Ultimate simulator for its MCC, JOC & FMS trainings.
A brand new Alsim ALX Ultimate has been installed at ITAER A. Ferrarin premises, in Catania, Italy, in April 2015.
With 45 years experience as an aviation high school, ITAER A. Ferrarin trains young students to become pilots, maintenance engineers, ATC controllers or meteo operators.
With more than 750 students, ITAER A. Ferrarin plays a leading role in Aviation not only in Sicily but also in the whole country, and counts hundreds of ex alumni actually working in leading Aviation industries all over the world. The ALX simulator will be used to train student pilots from ITAER and from ATOs as well and to promote an innovative training process, based on the measurement of competencies, focused on the development of Flight Safety in the training environment.
During the ALX acceptance process, the school has been supported by Cogtech representatives. Cogtech has been charged by ITAER as the ALX operator and is an ENAC certified company as FSTD Operator.
Cognitive Technologies Srl (Cogtech) main activities are focused on Research & Development in Cognitive area, and are targeted to provide innovative services and products, able to increase the efficiency of working processes, reduce the costs of assessment and training, and substantially improve Safety/Security in a working environment.
