The ATO noticed the increasing trend to make maximum use of simulators in flight training and testing. Alsim ALX Light Turboprop to Aeronav Academy, South Africa.

Aeronav Academy saw that they needed to also offer simulator training to complement their theory and flight training and to extend their training offer to include advanced topics such as RNAV and TCAS.

To meet this demand, the flight school considered several FSTD manufacturers and eventually chose Alsim and its ALX flight simulator
