Screening Preparation.

If you have successfully completed your ATPL training and will shortly be involved in a screening process at an airline, we offer you the opportunity to be fully prepared for it: in a full-flight simulator from Lufthansa Flight Training, you can specifically hone your individual skills – thus significantly increasing your chances of being taken on by the airline.
The Training

Arranging instructors:
We will be happy to arrange experienced instructors for your screening preparation, who will be highly familiar with the specific requirements of the various airlines. The instructors guarantee that every training course is precisely tailored to the latest requirements of the airline in question.

The simulators:
Screening preparations are primarily carried out on a Boeing 737 classic simulator, but of course all the other full-flight simulators in the Lufthansa Flight Training fleet are available.

Duration and structure:
Screening preparations generally last two hours, which you complete in your capacity as a pilot. We try to put together teams of two for each training session. In this case, the duration of the screening preparation doubles to a total of four hours. Together with your cockpit partner, you alternate between the roles of captain and co-pilot – and gain even further important insights.

Screenings for German airlines:
Many German airlines – such as Lufthansa, Germanwings or Condor – carry out their screenings on Lufthansa Flight Training simulators. One big advantage for you is the fact that screening preparation and actual screening take place in the same full-flight simulator. What’s more, even the flight program is virtually identical in many cases.
